Edwin Schofield Artist

Edwin Schofield is an English painter, sculptor and graphic designer. He has become well known for his figurative, expressive paintings, and creative work with brands.

Born in 1988, Edwin Schofield, studied Fine Art at the University for the Creative Arts in Farnham from 2007 to 2010. During his studies, his tutors included Ryan Mosley, Philida Barlow and Johnathan Parsons. During this period Edwin's work developed from painting narratives to focusing on the paint as a subject and allowing the paint to dictate the final work culminating in the large paint pour which was displayed in the James Hockey Gallery, OXO Barghouse and The Sculpture park.

Since he graduated from the University for the Creative Arts, Edwin’s work has moved to a more fluid style of painting. Edwin Schofield's paintings have been exhibited in London, Sydney and New York, and his sculpture auctioned. He was featured in the National Open Art Exhibition in 2012 and has curated his own exhibitions to national acclaim. In 2015, he realized the potential for a new type of Creative Agency that would take a more thoughtful, creative, and art-based approach to branding, and won support from the Prince’s Trust to found Yazaroo, a creative agency based in Surrey.
