Complete Overhaul of Yazaroo’s Services and Market Positioning

For 10 years we have provided web design, hosting, website support, graphic design, brand design and print.

We have since added to this typeface design, SEO, and PPC.

I have made the decision that starting Q1. 2026, we will offer a reduced service line of web design, WordPress support, web hosting and search marketing.

The reason being is very simple, this year, website design and support equates to 80% of our turnover and 90% of our profit. But currently only took up 60% of our studio time.

Things like flyers, business cards, banners and general low-level graphic design require time and revisions; however, clients never have the budget for the true cost.

Historically, we have done this work as a loss leader, with it leading on to more work in the long run.  However, more and more I am seeing that we are attracting clients who simply don’t have the budget for larger works.

With print, we are competing with “online” where quality is sacrificed for cost.

To replace Brand Design, we will be launching Yazaroo Ventures, which you can read more about here.

I believe this will streamline the business and let us focus all our attention on our most profitable services.

In particular, I see that moving away from traditional hourly billed brand design, towards a model of equity and creative investment, will provide more opportunities to do better work and get paid properly for it.

I can see that in the long term, this may well be the direction Yazaroo takes as websites become no longer viable.
